It's still a shambles. I've been loading pics happily for weeks from my laptop and suddenly today I loaded one the size of a tablecloth for no reason.

  • Totally distracted by the rubber puppy show on Channel4...

Nothing to do with gardening, just sitting here open mouthed and stunned (possibly tweeting in my amusement too!)

Glad it's not just me then, most of the time I can't post pics. But even when I can it takes me ages and I sometimes loose the written posts too.

    Still can't stand the scrolling.

Words are still jumping into one another as well, so takes me ages to postimage

    Edit button doesn't always work.

Used to be able to post photos but suddenly nothing happens when I try.  Its been like it for a week or so.  It wont post photos under 5 never mind larger ones.  I know the team are trying to sort things out, but things seem to be getting worse not better.

Good evening everyone. I'Ve got used to the site now and find it quite straightforward to type and post photos on my iPad, so maybe it depends on what equipment you use. image

Ive had a good laugh at Runny and Joyce's comments about aging bodies. In my case, I have similar problems as well as the stuff in my skull which seems to lose its way fairly often. I had a discussion with a woman in the waiting room at the Drs surgery yesterday. it sneaks up on you and from being healthy and alert, you suddenly find you can't do stuff.  By the way, I have a nifty triangular sort of metal gadget for needle threading. It's magic. I'm not sure what it's called. I'll put a photo on if I can.

This is the needle threader and it's handy for embroidery threads as well as knitting yarn because of the different sizes. The whole gadget only measures about an inch and a half at the widest.  (It's hard to re-wire the old brain to use imperial instead of the metric, having not that long ago got a handle on metric. ) I still use imperial for my height, but metric for measuring and weighing,

We have a laugh at the weather channel where everything is in metric, then when they do the surf report, they describe the waves in feet. Are people who surf a bit behind everyone else?  We changed to metric in 1966.!!!

have a good night all. Time for me to sign off.image

Good morning Joyce. You're first up today, I see.

We've got a horrible dark, cold day today here. I'm not used to being without sunshine.

Our friend is being kept in hospital for two more nights because they are waiting for results of his various tests. His daughter has been looking after the dog last night and today and cleaning up his house for him.  She has now gone back to Canberra so we're keeping tabs on the dog.

I agree that the report from Obelixx was really good. Pity I can't see it
