Good Morning All, I might be AWOL over the weekend, I am working at the chateau for the next few days, big wedding event and 4 days of feasting is planned. I'm not sure if it is all one wedding party or 4 weddings one after the other. Will be hectic whatever.
Will try and squeeze some gardening in during the daytime but the weather is being very changeable.
See you all soon, have a good day (s).
“Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?” —Betsy Cañas Garmon
Very thick mist over the garden and the fields this morning, hopefully we will have a sunny day. Bank holiday this weekend so who knows what the weather will be like.
Morning all, shattered already as i travelled down south and back in a day. 12 hours driving!!! Soooooooooooo much coffee gonna be drunk today me thinks
Morning all. Did anyone notice I haven't been here? Huge storm on Saturday night, burnt out all our telephone points but one and all the equipment, phones, Livebox, Wifi extender etc that was attached to them. The trip meter went but all the fuses in the old fuse box in the oldest part of the house blew and we hadn't enough to replace them until we could buy some on Monday. Lots of re-wiring to do, Assurance says they'll pay.
I'm at son's at the moment babysitting 2 small GSs, aged 1 and 2. Cuties. He's a dentist, she's an orthodontist and their nanny can't come.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Yvie - nothing over 2.5 mb will upload just now. I've already flagged up the issue. You have to resize your photos to about 2 or under. Most of mine are well over 3 or 4 mb up to 8 and 9, so I have to resize virtually everything I want to upload. Once they sort it to 5mb as it should be, it will be easier. Still a pain that we can't use an external site like before. If you right click on the photo in your library, you should get an option to resize in the menu
Not had time to read back much here so will catch up later if I have any energy.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
That sounds drastic Lizzie. Hope it gets fixed soon, for you.
We are expecting bad weather here, but it hasn't rained yet, and it's been cold and dark all day. We were watching TV this afternoon and the whole screen went blank, then a notice to re-do the set top box. After a while, it came back by itself. That usually means there is a storm around Disturbing the signal.
Bushman, are you crazy? I couldn't even think about a trip that long.

I don't think we will have any sun today either Pat
It's good that your neighbour will be home soon.
Good morning all. OH has gone to work and I'm in bed with a coffee. Driving to Lincs later today, back tomorrow.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning Dove. Enjoy your coffee
I hope you will soon be able to return to your normal routine.
