Just finished stuffing vol au vents and putting pineapple and cheese on sticks (stuck in a foil covered half grapefruit of course). I think Dove said she'd already got the sausages done. Do I need to do something on Ritz crackers too....? We only have classy parties in East Anglia.
See you all later.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Just in from working at a ' Baptême' meal, started serving the champagne at noon and they finally finished the last course at 18:30 - 7 courses they had. Lovely people, very appreciative of us mere minions, we had to take a bow and have a glass of champagne on the stage at the end.
Not really dressed for a party, but can I come anyway? Just don't expect any more waitress service from me, I have done my bit for today.
Is the chap from The Night Manager invited, I took quite a shine to him???

Think you must have forgotten the Night Manager chappie, Tom Hiddleston, or DD wouldn't have dropped off! I certainly wouldn't have done if he'd been there OH would have liked Darcey Bussell, but he's dropped off in front of David Attenborough. I've just come to the kitchen to get the pud, lemon posset. Hope OH wakes up, it's one of his favourites and he'll be missing Dad' Army, which he loves.
Have fun all.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Busy, I photographed Darcey Bussell a few years back for a PR shoot. She was lovely. At the end of the shoot I couldn't find my car keys and she spent ages moving furniture trying to find them

Evening all.
Busy day again. Have VIP vistors coming soon and everything needs sorting .
Started off cloudy but ended up lovely, not a cloud in the sky.
Cut grass one notch shorter and it's starting to look less field like.
Terrace is pristine and pressure washed so, after tonight's forecast chill, the agapanthus can be placed in situ, freeing up space in the tunnel.
Hubby working next week but has promised to help in garden again tomorrow. I think he's secretly starting to enjoy it.
I spent all day yesterday in the pond and , methinks, did a bit too much kneeling. Fairly painful today.
No eurovision here. We're gay, but clearly not THAT gay.
BTW, I've given in and started sleeping pills. Can't say they're helping as I'm still averaging about 4 hours a night.
Enjoy your night one and all.

Hi Hosta - lovely to see you're still around
Sorry to hear you're still suffering with both knee and sleep - hope things pick up soon
