Here I go again. I'm just waking up and you are all going to bed. Very frustrating. I have really enjoyed reading all of your posts while lazing under a heap of bedclothes. Amazing differences in your weather and Hosta, it's hard to imagine your hot house getting so hot.

we have foxes here in the valley but the farmers shoot them if they can (as well as any kangaroos they can get away with image, even though it's illegal to shoot kangaroos). Then the farmers complain about the number of rabbits!  Sometimes we wonder what they've got between their ears.

I can't remember individual things but I'm glad you enjoyed seeing my late afternoon photo across the valley and the hat that I knitted. I've been advised by the mother of the little one I've been knitting for that the dress has arrived and it fits very well and they are thrilled with it. I can now make dress number two in the same size, which I was holding off for until we decided if she needed a size 4 rather than another in the size 2.  At least I now know which pitfalls to look out for.

i suppose I'd better get up. I really want a cuppa and some breakfast. Catch you all later.

Good morning all :-). Loud thunder and lots of lightening wind and heavy rain over night. At least the tree and plants have been well watered in and the pond has been topped up ... again.

Now it's just grey and rainy. Looking forward to the balmy West Country :-D

    Ohhh more thunder and lightening!!!

Morning Clari and Dove. We've got a dark overcast day as well without the rain - just a fine mist which didn't even register in the rain gauge. We badly need some rain. All the dams are very low.

    Morning all/afties Pat. image

Dove - I saw the forecast this morning and wondered if you were getting the thunder and lightning! We could do with a day's rain. It's been mid to high teens once the sun gets going. Plenty hot enough for me.  I'm finding it very strange that we've had so much dry weather. It's just not normal here - if we get three dry days in a row we think all our birthdays have come at once  image

Busied myself outside last night after work - put some sweet peas into a big pot and planted out some Acidanthera in the raised beds.

I'll have a quick look round to catch up - have a great day everyone  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning all. Afties Pat.The sun's coming round the hill and it's going to be another scorcher. I can't cope! The grass is never going to get cut at this rate. I'll have to do it in installments!

    Have a great day everyone.
