Oh, oh, just arrived in dentists reception to realise I am 2 hours late, 12:00 not 2:00, should have realised as 2:00 would have been written as 14:00. Receptionist is scary at the best if times - wish me luck please.
If I don't reappear later you know what's happened.

Steve - getting a second opinion in Belgium is at least a doddle. Just make an appointment with a surgeon you fancy. I know a very good one in Brussels who did my back for me - if that can help.
Busy - It is hard work getting ready for an Open Garden but it will be worth it and you can feel proud and have a big fat flop on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday........... as long as it takes.
I have been helping out at the British Women's club's annual plant sale for charity this morning. I despair. So many who haven't a clue about which way is up, don't listen to the answers to their questions, ask about every single plant there and then say they only want white or purple, admire the plants but then just retreat into he clubhouse for more coffee and cake........... Thank heavens for the ones who did buy plants and/or provided refreshments to add to the coffers........
Sunny but a chill wind blowing today. Dance show admin now and until it's all over on Saturday pm. Family day out on Sunday. I hope it stays bright as I'm itching to get my hands dirty again as of Monday.

Oh, but KEF - remember what happened when they were "on a break" - chaos ensued that took another seven series to put right
Good to see Fairy too. Sympathise about the builders - ours were here for 6 months, and lovely chaps though they were I was mighty pleased to see the back of them. Think the highlight of the whole experience was a month of microwaved food, and washing up plates in plastic trugs in the bath. But it transformed our house, so was worth it in the end. Just keep repeating that mantra, ad infinitum, whilst you smile through gritted teeth (gritted, no doubt, due to builders dust)
I spent most of today painting the walls in the kitchen trying to keep plaster dust down. I cant decide on final colours yet, so for now its all getting a coat of white.
However, when I went to open the greenhouse this morning, a couple of these were fluttering around.
I think I'm inhaling quite a lot of grit along with my food chicky.
Difficult to escape when the house is so small
Still - things could be worse.
Lovely pic fidget. Did you do the walls with watered down PVA first ? Think mine will all be cream till I decide what colours although I know roughly for the shower room. I'm looking forward to having a bedroom though. Actually, I'm looking forward to having a bed after sleeping on the settee for four and a half years
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Fairy, I had the plasterer in a few weeks ago and found that a damp chamois was the best at lifting the dust. It gets into every bl**dy corner
Do you need to skin it and tan its hide first, Joyce?
That's already been done Steve

Hi all I've had a productive day in the garden
Just to say please don't report me AWOL ( if any one would) I'm as they said on Friends on a break
I'll pop in at times when I'm less busy.
Take care x
