I've another scout camp at the museum tonight. Only 15 of them (plus leaders) which will be a nice cosy group. Just need to survive the rather more busy nursery group coming in first!
Oh and get the vintage ambulance ready for Bradford next week! It's roadworks the whole way up; I am not looking forward to the commute!
Morning all! Haven't been around for the last few days as have been madly painting the house ready for H's birthday party tomorrow. Looks like our BBQ garden party will be rained off, though...
Hope everyone is well. Can't wait to 'get back to normal' next week and get back to some pottering in the garden!
One of those coffees would be most welcome Dove. Much as I love the birds I could cheerfully strangle the family of starlings who live in the eaves, wear clodhoppers and screech from first light. Hopefully they fledge soon and we can block up the gaps.
Glad all went well the other day Dove and Wonky. Joyce I'm pleased OH is back home and that you did manage to catch up on some much needed sleep.
Fairy your new hot bed sounds a great idea but remember to get it an electric blanket. The Forkers panto raised a chuckle. Hope your arm gets better soon Panda.
I got my x-ray results the other day and it seems I have a fractured vertebra probably due to osteoporosis - more tests to come. It's frustrating not being able to do everything that needs doing. I'd been thinking of painting too Keen. What colour is your hair and fingernails.
LesleyK you poor girl, that must be very painful, take things easy!
Clari hope you back on top form, sounds like you going to be busy
Verdun how nice to be a winner first thing on a Friday!
Bushman, please send some sun over here, it's still pouring!
had a very sad day with friend yesterday she is desperately needing admitted but there are no beds due to all the addicts, how sad. The one time she needs help from her own profession. Not going today, need a couple of days to recharge
will try to plant some of the bluebells I got from aunties garden I think they are like snowdrops and transplant well "in the green"
have a good day everyone and stay safe
