Flowers, think Lizzies right, you must be the only one who likes this new forum. I hate it. Can't find my way round at all.
Bring back the old 'new threads' list please and the edit button. I like clicking on photos too to see all the tiny details.
Why couldn't we have had a questionnaire on here to state what we all wanted/had problems with. Seems rather weird that a selected few had a 'meeting' I wonder who they were .
Congratulations to Yvie, a beautiful new grandson.
Thanks for sharing that lovely sunrise Frit (sorry for the abbreviation, not certain of the spelling)
Sorry if I annoyed Dordogne Damsel with my comment about chickys emoticons. It's difficult to judge the tone of a response without a cheeky wink or a sad face to convey the mood.
Bushman: sounds like you had a great night catching up with old friends, so that makes up for feeling a bit rough today.
It's overcast here but if it brightens up later I may just have to force myself to mow the lawn.
Morning all, afternoon Pat so happy to see that so many of us are trying with this new format, I'm sure it will improve as we give feedback.
Lovely to see you Yvie and thanks for Introducing your new grandson to us! He's lovely! Sounds like it was a busy time! Good to see you back here
Another day annual leave today sun is shining, birds are singing, coffee is brewing...lovely! Will try get Dr appointment for mot, and am popping up to visit my brother, who asked if I could meet him at a garden center.... Well if I MUST!
Hope we see all the old faces popping back into this site, welcome back to everyone that's been on a break or been away!
Dove, hope you go crabbing after doing the sensible organising bit! Or maybe a spot of fish and chips! X

Re the new-look website - quite a lot needs fixing to make it user friendly (for me) but hopefully the tech team will get there if we give sensible feedback. I remember a couple of threads asking for contributor feedback and help but I'm not a subscriber to GW so have not rec'd any emails.
Most of all I am so relieved that so many online friends are 'toughing out' the teething problems. Would really miss your chat & support. You often make me laugh when there's nothing but doom and gloom out there!
Many congratulation to Yvie and family - such a bonnie baby - gorgeous - feeling broody!
Hope all goes well today Dove and you get things sorted as you want them to be. Chish & fips and Adnams afterwards maybe ?
Think some more pricking out needed today - after I've cleaned all the pigeon doo dah off my car. They've taken to 'courting' in the tree in the driveway - what a bl###y mess every where!

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Morning Dove, BusyL, Lilyp,Kitty, SGL, Flowers,Bushman, DD, and Lesley:)
I've been hardening off my sweetpeas I sowed. Nipped them out, now they are going great guns and my planter is all ready with supports in place.....only one problem, it turns out big planters full of warm compost in the sun, makes a perfect day bed for Flatters! Or so he has informed me! Not sure if my sweetpeas are that hardy yet!
Hope everyone has a lovely day with sunshine! Sounds like a great day for a BBQ bushman! Enjoy!
Wonky if ever your up this way you would be most welcome to join us as any fellow forkers would be. We are a bit rough around the edges but can behave when we have too...........just about
Dove & Pat - I found a huuuuge great hornet clonking around in my lounge a couple of days ago! I've been told it was a queen as it's generally only those which overwinter, and it had probably been snoozing in my house until it was warm enough to fly away... needless to say I encouraged it to fly freeeeee (I don't want a hornet nest in the garden!)
Apparently they are very rare though, so good enough I plucked up the courage to get near enough to usher it out of the window!
