Love that raspberry ripple - very jealousimage

Great day here.  Did lots of weeding that I hadn't intended to ....jumped in the flowerbed to pull out one, and was still there a couple of hours laterimage.  But if I hadn't been there I wouldn't have spotted the flower bud on my tree peony, which has been there for about 5 years, steadfastly refusing to performimage

Then potted on 48 rudbeckias (.....who needs 48 rudbeckias I hear you cryimage), and the annuals which willbe ready for my pots in a few weeks time.  If I thought the greenhouse was full before, then it is positively groaning now.

    Great clematis Pandaimage

    We get everywhere fidget....image

I've cut grass and tidied mess round the 'stension, and started digging out the compacted ground to level it for the path round the side.

Knackered now. Easier being up a hill.... image

Nice columbine T'bird. I don't have enough columbines. I could easily rectify that...but I'm not supposed to be spending on the garden. I need a bed....image

    Well maybe just one...or two..

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Fairy, I'm built for comfort, not for speed.

Don't they have nice cable cars to take one to the top?

Was it on this forum I said I've held the FA Cup. ( Senior moment)

Thai Red curry this evening. Yummity yum yum.

    Devon.

    Beautiful Raspberry Ripple, want one.

I understand how you may need that many Rudbeckias, Chicky, I have a similar number! We will be very glad in late summer.image

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Re the cup - you mean you weren't playing?

I can't be bothered making any dinner. Can't taste anything image

I'm about to reheat some of my chilli out of the freezer Fairy. I put in the 'wrong' chillies so it's blow your socks off hot.

I'll send some up if you fancy it - should clear your sinuses out a treat image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
