Very quick pop in, just back from visiting Open Gardens and now have to catch up with the i*****g, had a film crew phone up and ask if I can accommodate 9 of them tonight........... couldn't say no could I!
Anyway, Lizzie's garden and the other one nearby were beautiful. I took a friend and she thoroughly enjoyed herself and has dashed back home all inspired to do more gardening. Both gardens are just about half an hour maybe 40 minutes from me but the flowers are amazingly much further on than mine here, nice to see what we have to look forward to in a week or two (hopefully).
Hello Frank, welcome back, and well done on finding a dress Panda.
Everyone else enjoy your gardens and BBQs whilst weather is good, gone a bit cloudy here, strong wind and storms forecast for tomorrow or Tuesday.
BTW, Hosta, if you are looking in, the ginger you gave me is sprouting.
Right, back to i*****g board and bed making.

The sun finally arrived at lunchtime so took after lunch coffee outside and zonked out for an hour. No gardening done but was up at 5.30am and gots of h.......k, and washing done
Hello and goodbye Frank/Dad - stick around. Don't let the idiots drive you off, although I know how easy they sometimes make it
chicky - I'm getting frightened to look at that thread now- not sure what else Daniel's going to reveal
I love it too - it would be awful if people chucked the toys out the pram and flounced off instead of being a bit more patient. In the grand scheme of things - it's not much to ask, especially as our views are being noted and addressed. After all, there were always little snags before and we just got on with it.
Glad you've had a good day DD- although it looks like you've a busy time ahead. No change there then I think BL will be pleased if your friend now feels inspired to do more.
A nice snooze in the sun will do you the world of good Joyce
Hate to say it but it's too hot for me as there's no breeze. It's high teens. We've gone from winter to summer in a couple of days! I'm sure normal service will be resumed soon though. As Frankie Boyle once said: 'There's a deep depression over Scotland, and now for the weather forecast' ...
Tiles have been purchased. Hope I got the right grout. The emojis have suddenly stopped working. Have I used up my quota with this post? Smiley face.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It's OK Fairy - Daniel's just popped to the supermarket to fetch me the makings of some Pimms, then he's going to scrape pigeon poo - apparently it's preferable to dealing with us lot

Hello everyone. Lovely sunny day here and I had planned to be out in the garden enjoying it but have just woken up after a long snoozle on the sofa, still cream crackered after last night's end of year show at the dance club which I organise, publicise, direct and then DJ the after show dancing.
My new feet are feeling very old and creaky and crunchy today. My veggie babies will just have to wait another day.
Glad you had a good time at Busy's DD. I hope she's enjoying the day too.
Don't fancy a Pimms just yet Dove but here in Belgium the sun is not far off the yardarm point where a glass of chilled white NZ wine will be most welcome while I cook dinner. It's Mothers' Day here and we were supposed to go out for lunch but I was too tired so we're having proper roast lamb and Italian style garlicky roast new potatoes and rhubarb something for pud.

Thanks KEF. The weird thing is that I don't really feel ill, apart from the first day. I'm just a bit tired, but it's probably because I need some proper grub.
I'd enjoy obelixx's meal - apart from the lamb. Send us some if there's any left please
Poor Daniel - he's taken a fair bit of flak today - and handled it very well!

Obelixx it is that hot here that we are having cold chicken , prawns & salad, griddled Haloumi and peppers and eating it like mezes. I'm sure my spelling is all wrong, please excuse me as I've need cold drinks in the shade.
Hope all have a good evening and Lizzie can chill when visitors have finally gone.
I smell a BBQ it must be Dove
