Afternoon all, Had a busy morning in the garden, tempted fate by planting up some of my pots.  Its been raining on and off all day.  Hopefully it will be better tomorrow so I can finish them off.

Like the clematis in the basket, might give that a try (sorry can't remember who posted it).

Happay aniv. Mynx hope you get something nice from the GC.

Sorry to hear so many of you are suffering from lack of sleep.  Since getting back from looking after grandaughter I have slept like a log.  Nothing quite like your own bed.

Need to get on with cot quilt for grandson, havent had much time recently.  I'm cross stitching six panels to sew into the quilt and that is what's taking the time.

It's the woodpigeons on the chimney that wake me up, I'm sure they have a megaphone up there.

Will sign off now, curry and cup final beckon.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

Well Hibs have won the Scottish cup final so all is well with the world in our houseimage.  Younger son is at the match but not one of the pitch invadersimage.  Fortunately OH and eldest are playing bowls tonight so TV's all mineimage.

Panda, we have a lilac but it does nothing.  Maybe too old or too cramped but I do remember the gorgeous scentimage,

Yes, Panda I think that might be.

Punkdoc, Trentham garden. Best place to eat is the cafe in the garden centre next door. The cafe within the gardens is dreadfully slow.

There are lots of places to eat in the shopping village near the entrance.

    Look out for the fairies.

There is also the monkey village at the other end of the lake.

Hi Panda - if the aquilegia is the same as my seedlings it's called Raspberry Ripple. As we say around here - it's bootiful. image

If this link works there should be a picture appearing from Fidget from last year: Here goes:....
