Afternoon ? Bought a frock ? Not as much as I thought it would be ? Went to the pub with Ma Panda afties and might have drunk a bottle or two of Prosecco between us ? Hic! Happy celebrating ???
Evening all, Been in the garden all day, Secondborn came this morning with the baby so had lots of lovely cuddles. Have done quite a bit of tidying and have moved a few plants. Also emptied some bulb pots and transferred the crocus into the garden. It's been lovely and hot but it's really raining hard now.
Have picked up from recent posts that both Dove and Lynn experienced sad times while I was absent. Sorry to hear of your loss and hope you are both OK.
Hello all. Had a good day although I only did one hill as I've not had a proper meal for a few days and I was a bit drained. I've been slightly unwell over the last few days with a bug of some kind. Don't want to put anyone off their dinner, but let's say I was slightly worried about the lack of 'facilities' for several hours, if you get my drift....
Can't post any photos either - I can no longer get it to work. It was chilly, cloudy and very windy 'up top' but the cloud was high and allowed some good views, unlike the last time I was there when there was horizontal rain and clag all round. Watched a couple of little snow buntings for a while and also had a bum slide down one of the snow fields so that was fun
How quick you were getting a posh frock Panda. Is it traditional or short and black?
T'bird - I've just remembered there's a new programme on Wednesday night at 9pm called Highlands:Scotland's Wild Heart. Not sure if it's nationwide or just up here though.
I should get something to eat now and catch up with all the goings on
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Potting on . Good tidy . And sorted sheds and summer house out . Hot dull and rain now but oh in garden from breakfast till now . Curry and crime . have a good night people .
Fairy, re open-air 'facilities'. . . make sure you're not on Trump's land like the lady 'caught short' on his Aberdeenshire golf course land who was spied by two of his worthies.
BL enjoy your open day tomorrow
After a cloudy, drizzly day I hope our predicted week of heat and sun arrives tomorrow. . . not holding my breath.
Fairy - Thanks for the heads up about Wednesday - didn't know about that one. Looks as though it's just on BBC Scotland so we wouldnt have seen it. Fortunately we can do Scottish TV on the Sky box. You are earning me lots of brownie points with OH ?
Hope you feel better soon x
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Just intermittent, thanks Dove - if you know what I mean
Doesn't help that I take lots of bananas, seeds and nuts when I walk
No cuckoos here but I did hear a little woodpecker yesterday when I was out doing the grass. Lovely

Might have had a doze before tea..... turns out drinking in the afternoon can make you dozy! ?
It is a traditional dress Fairy, and a bit swooshy! No train though, and I won't be having a veil either ☺
Hope you feel better soon Fairy.... sounds not very nice.
Is anyone watching The Secret? Have never seen James Nesbit so sinister!
