Aw, thanks guys, you're the best.

Had a newly retired colleague and his wife come to visit to-day. They stayed for 5 hours so I'm guessing they like the garden.

Send them home with some pressies from the tunnel.

Other than that, it's been a day of phone calls and  not much else.

Canary Island Palm has returned to the terrace for the summer and I might start moving the agapanthus tomorrow.

So much to do before the VIPs arrive next week.

    Devon.

Hazel: I went a bit dizzy when I saw them on BBC breakfast this morning. The borders move as well, it's a bit like one of those fancy Christmas window displays in posh shops.

You should start a "So...... Chelsea" thread for all us moaners to criticize all the awful stuff. image

The  twirling bay  trees and other ridiculous contraptions should have no place in  a garden.

Sponsored by Harrods... more money than sense.

Did any one else notice the nasty ulcer or scab on the queens right leg.? It looks like it should be covered up for protection if nothing else.

If you can get plant pauper on board (even though she hates gardening shows) it will be hilarious.
