Right. Packed and ready for tomorrow's train to London...
Hope you have a lovely day, Chicky. I think your forecast is better than Wednesday's - but I don't really care; I'll have my binbag to sit on (thanks, Obelixx!) and a waterproof & umbrella just in case.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I don't view you as a grump Hazel You were the spark that started the So....... thread.
I have enjoyed reading it so much and it has evolved through the ups and downs of all the contributors posts. What started as a gripe has become a place of shared memories (tin bath and outdoor loo springs to mind) alongside moans and groans.
A "So......" for Chelsea seemed a perfect place to air our views. Who knows where it will take us?
Thanks Liri - hope you and Ob have a great time too
Just watched today's three Chelsea programmes back to back .....gotta love Cleve West haven't you. The guy is a genius. And such a lovely man too. You can keep the twirly bay trees ...know where I will be heading first
Not sure what time it is, but got woken up by a phone call. It was our friend Rolf, who apparently is gastric and wondered if Hubby was going to town. Could he buy some Imodium for him? I had a clean out of all medications that were out of date a couple of months ago, so nothing here. Hubby has got dressed and gone to town. Hubby did say that Rolf had this problem when he saw him on Sunday, so he probably should be seeing a Dr instead of self-medicating, but who am I to boss an 80 year old around. I can't say I'm surprised - he keeps things in open cans etc in the fridge. (I refuse to eat anything there). Who knows what he's done to himself now. old twit!
On a more cheerful subject, it's sunny outside even though the house is cool. HRH and I watched Hubby walking down to the garage to get the ute and noticed two kangaroos lazing in the sun in front of the house. They, of course, got up and jumped away when they saw him. I bet they aren't pleased to lose their lovely sunny spot.
I expect we'll see something on TV about Chelsea, but our screens are full of electioneering rubbish at the moment and our election isn't until July . It's a pain in the neck. Is there an Australian entry at Chelsea this year?
Id better get up and face the day. Catch you all later.
i had a phone call from Rolf's daughter. She is caravaning around WA with her Hubby at the moment (so - many miles away) and as she is an ambulance officer, she rang to suggest that since her father has been sick for so many days, his BP could drop and he'd probably pass out and no one will know. She pointed out that since he is a pensioner they can ring 000 and an ambulance will come out and put him on a drip and take him to hospital. I therefore rang Hubby who was still in town (25km away), and told him this. Next phone call was Hubby ringing from Rolf's place to advise that the ambulance is on its way. Sigh!!! I'm worn out already and it's only 11.45am. We'll have an extra dog for a while.
I think I need another cup of tea and some jigsaw playing on my iPad to calm down

Hello all just watched first Chelsea programme , loved the moving trees and boarders , such fun
Who? What? Where? I can't see it Hazel.
I've had a gripe on the Titchmarsh thread but I would rather prefer another So...........
There will be lots of threads to come this week regarding Chelsea this and Chelsea that.
Get all the moaners in one place, regulars will understand the So...... heading.
Go for it Hazel.

Have to agree Chicky. I think that there are 2 stunning gardens: Cleve West and Andy Sturgeon. Both stunning.
