Nice day planting up and generally tending in the woodland border but rained off now so time for G&T in the bath I think... image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Well, I have to say , the weathermen got it spot on.

Rain will pass by 2pm and then sunshine and that's what happened.

Chilly wind still so more polytunnel pottering.

We WILL have a whole day in the garden tomorrow.

    Devon.

Stopped at Wyevale on way home.

Water lilies, £24.99 each!!!!! I've got about 50- 60 in my polytunnel coming along a treat. Maybe I should think about selling some next year.

    Devon.

Got to 22C today.  I've been busy labelling plants for the charity sale tomorrow and watering treasures in pots.   At last I have buds on my hydrangea macrophylla.

Annual end of season show at the dance club on Saturday and I have so much to organise.  Not much gardening for me till Sunday then but I did treat us to some more baby veggie plugs - kohlrabi, red cabbage, Romanesco, yellow courgette to help pollinat the first one and 2 potimarron - while out stocking up on bird food.   They've scoffed the lot over this last cold spell..

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
