Dove and Wonky, as one who deals with the end of life on a day to day basis, let me tell you that concentrating on the funny memories today will help, never be afraid to laugh about someone who is gone.
Punkdoc, I'm glad I'm not the only one with neighbour issues. Ours is being a d*ckhead after seven years of us being perfectly civil. He 'allowed' our driveway guys to walk up his drive to lay ours and they got some dust on his car... We are now not to be spoken to and instead get glared at. I won't repeat here what he told us we had done to him despite initially telling us that it wasn't our fault and declining my offer of having his car cleaned properly...
Dull and grey and feeling cold today. I have shopping and baking to do for our rum night - last salsa class of the dance season with rum and snacks and fun.
Otherwise, a bit of cleaning, a bit of gardening and a bit of technical HRT. I've been told where I can get a flame thrower to do the weeds in the old cobbled road that is part of our front garden. Watch this space!
I hope all goes well for Dove and Wonky and everyone else having a difficult time.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Lily P, have had a frozen bit in my arm that started off at my bicep and has slowly migrated up to the bit just below my shoulder. Lying down is very tricky and as for putting on the daily scaffolding....
Panda it depends on your complexion. If you're pally wally then it might make you pally wallier!!! If you're going to do it, do it well before your wedding. My dad was a wedding photograper and he hated it when brides didn't look like themselves. There were times when they turned up to choose their photos for the album (it was in olden days) and he didn't recognise them!!! Satabout????
ps ....when's the hen night? We had fidget's at KEF's and it was a ball!!! I can't remember who organised the transport but someone hired the Tardis.
I've had trouble with Brannan Max Min thermometers and I've had to take about 8 back to Mole Valley. The pin sticks and the "mercury" rises over it, so doesn't read the Max temp. The last one read different temps on both sides.
This one hasn't even been taken out of the packaging and it's got the same "stuck pin" issue.
I've just called Brannan direct and a lovely young lady said she's not only send me another one, the same as I've got now, but also a digital battery operated max min version as well.

Nice way to start the day.
