What's happened? I've tried to open posts since last night (it's now 9.30am) and I gave up as I thought my iPad was playing up again. Now I've been able to read this page, but haven't worked out how to go back a page. I'll work on it.
I've managed to go back to my last post, so I've caught up. It's going to take a bit of getting used to, I think. Never mind, as long as we can still chat to each other, it'll be ok.
It's bright sunlight out there today, but a cold morning. One advantage of notgetting rain is plenty of sun, but it also means the nights are colder with no cloud cover to help. We're never happy.
I must say that the new format is better on my laptop than on my iPhone - but I still don't like being without a page of 'Latest Posts' that I can run my eye over and choose something interesting.
However, it is an absolutely gorgeous day here
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Interesting you say that Dove; I'm finding the website better on my phone!
Well my scouts were mostly well behaved on their visit to the museum last night. BUT as they left their scout leader gave us a box of chocolates as a thank you! That is the first time I've been given anything other than a cold from visitors. One leader commented that he was amazed how much detail I was able to produce about the building, the emergency services (past & present) without any notes or prompts... I had to confess that while I can remember all of this it's rather pushed out day to day stuff like phone numbers!
Today a very clever teacher has gotten around the voting closure by booking her two classes in to the museum; I have to say I was very impressed since so often it's a lost day.

Think you will find everyone on the new look forum thread, begging for the old one back, I know I have!

I've been out digging potatoes today. Stopped when a bucket was full. That'll do for a couple of days.
we had minus 3 this morning, but sunny and about 18 degrees today.
I'm getting used to the new format now, so feel a bit more comfortable.
Morning Pat
Hopefully when everyone gets used to the new forum format and the kinks are ironed out, all will be plain sailing again!
I'm up early as I had stinky hayfever all night and couldn't breathe. Oh, the joys of spring!

Morning Dove
The page of "Latest posts" was good as you say, especially when when having a coffee break
