Perhaps it's better not to know, Lizzie... it can be a little like the school playground, "who's speaking to me today??"
I prefer to act on the assumption that it's best to try to be on speaking terms with everyone, even if you disagree with them. In our terrace of 8 houses, 3 families will talk to everyone (we're one of the 3). The others have fallen out with one or other of the neighbours. It's quite hard to remember who's not speaking to whom at the moment!
Sorry. How rude of me... Morning all!
Am feeling happy though damp. Heavy shower en route to the doc this morning, hence the damp. Happiness caused by the doc reassuring me that the pain in my calf is not a DVT (I've had a couple of thrombosises (thromboses?? Where's a pedant when you need one? ) in the past), but a calf strain.
Also happy because Mum was quite positive when we visited her yesterday. Quite doolally, but happy with it... and ever so pleased to see us.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Lazy start to the day today. Have had a great deal on my mind and plate of late so not a lot of sleep but last night the alarm was firmly turned off, OH banned to snore in another room and Possum told to take a car to get to the station so no taxi. Slept and dozed and read till midday. Bliss.
Back to the fray now with plenaty of jobs to do in house, garden and dance club and garden group and getting ready for trip to Chelsea and Hyde Hall and Beth Chatto's next week.
Verdun - Have to agree with WW and Busy about spats. Keep them to yourself and don't try and rally troops and maybe ask yourself what it is about your own posting behaviour that leads you to do this so often?
Hosta - hope you get sorted out and sleep well soon.
Lesley - ouch. Backs can be painful and debilitating and so frustrating. Hope it's treatable.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Thanks everyone for the hugs and sympathy. Flowers I didn't know you were a sufferer. A gentle hug back to you. Lizzie I've no idea how long it will take but it's not quite as bad as it was at the end of March. I can sleep until I need to turn over.
Hosta I hope that the hypnosis works for you. It certainly sounds worth a try.
The sun is still out so I'll have a look to see if anything has grown since this morning
Hi Lesley - I shall be taking loads of photos and will share them as albums when I get back next weekend. Beth Chatto's garden has been on my wish list for years and years so I'm really looking forward to that and I've followed Hyde Hall's metamorphosis since the RHS acquired it so that'll be a treat too.

Its gorgeous - multi stemmed and getting on for 7ft from soil level to top. We brought it home on the back seat of the car with niece holding on. I drve slowly to save the leaves blowing off. Nieces and convertibles come in handy:)

How do people know if someone has blocked them?
