Thanks for all your lovely comments re Jonah. On nanna duty today and whilst cuddling Mabel felt a lovely warm feeling on my lap. Oh the joys of potty training. Now sitting in firstborn s dressing gown.  All clothes in the washing machine .

I didn't get an email either Dove.  I didn't see any threads asking anything re forum format either.

Couldn't there have been something flash up on forkers thread for everyone to see.

Can now only use site using chrome, if I don't I can't get on at all. And only then by using an email notication from the weekend.......that I fortunately didn't get rid of. I haven't had any new ones since the format change.

I also rely on an old email notification which is a hassle.

Will we get notification emails back once the glitches have been sorted out?

There was a thread on the forthcoming changes and asking what we'd like to see in the functionality.   They seem to have ignored all except making picture quality better and have succeeded in reducing functionality by removing the "jump to unread posts" option and page numbering and so on.

There is a thread now where we can report our individual problems - http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/site-feedback/your-new-look-forum/975698.html for the tech team to investigate.   No point moaning anywhere else really.

I hope the team responds quickly and that people here will give them a chance to fox it before migrating en masse.   It's a great community here for both beginners and the experienced and all shades in between plus the friendship and support offered to those having difficulties or wanting to celebrate.

Good morning all and have a great day whether you're sad because of loss or illness or celebrating gorgeous new babies or forthcoming weddings.

    Morning all!  :-)

Popped back in for a quick cuppa; have planted most of my new acquisitions in the enlarged beds (hooray!  still room for more... (embarrassed smiley)).  OH says if I remove any more lawn I might as well dig it all up.  :-D  Might remind him of that idea in a few years...

I might take the odd photo and try a post direct from my phone later.  Wish me luck!

Obelixx: I admire your tenacity in trying to pull all the complaints onto the relevant thread.

I have raised a couple of issues there and it seems like the team are trying to fix things and answer our questions.

Like you I am prepared to give them a chance to make it better, fingers crossed.

Still persevering, but it's tricky.  I think the thing I miss mostly is the notifications of incoming mail.

we're flopping in front of the TV tonight and just watching whatever comes up. We saw the first episode of Lucifer last and were quite amused by the character.

I can feel the temperature dropping again, so bed is calling or a nice hot cup of tea. (9.15pm). Catch you all later.imageimageimage
