Congrats to you and the family Yvie - he looks a smasher!
I'll talk quietly B'man
I thought I'd try posting a pic but I can't get it to work. I presume when I click the camera icon and bring up my photos, something else should happen, but it doesn't. I 'll have to get daughter to look at it.
Hope Lyn is ok today and yesterday went as well as these things can.
Have a good day all.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Keen there seems to be a 'pile of evil' in all four corners here. Your little boy will be thrilled with his playhouse so it's worth getting on with it while the weather's good?.
Hope all goes smoothly today Dove. A dose of the sea air will help. ((Hugs)).
I couldn't get on the site this morning and when I whinged to Hubby, he said, oh I'm doing something on line so you won't be able to use it for a while.
So, we had a trip to town. He had ordered a new cord for my iPad because I'm sick of moving it from the lounge room to the bedroom each night. Well the cord arrived on Wednesday from Apple, but the large bit with the three-pins for inserting in the power, wasn't with it. Der! Lot of use that was. So we went in to check the mail box today, but no luck again, he's been on the phone to Apple and they are sending another one. (Verdun would have been proud of him).
we had another minus something night and the tomatoes, climbing beans, zucchinis and cucumbers are shrivelled up. The loaded chilli plant looks very limp as well. I think I'll have to dig it up and hang it somewhere to save the green chillies or it'll all be for nothing. Pity the season didn't hang on long enough to let them turn red.
Every time I go into the greenhouse, there are a couple of European Wasps flying around, so I've put traps up in there this afternoon and we'll see what happens. I think they are stocking up their nest for the coming winter. I also put traps at the back of the house with fly bait instead of wasp bait and I've already got 5 wasps floating in there (about 2 hours).
Pat We had two queen wasps come into the house yesterday (or the same one twice). One was inspecting the bookshelves for a place to start a home and family - she was encouraged to go look elsewhere
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Mastered the new layout, must say that I like it! But I haven't as yet posted any pics, so still have that to try out. Also wish we could enlarge things....like having a close up nosey around all your lovely gardens.
I'm suffering at the moment, thought at first I had a bad head cold (since last Saturday) but it has remained exactly the same all week, all sinuses completely blocked , I'm wondering if I have hayfever, never have but can you suddenly start to suffer from it?
Proud mummy alert......went to see Junglebook yesterday ,had to sit through the credits to see........my son's name!!!
Morning all. Looks a lovely day. Went up to 24° in the shade yesterday. But it's getting windy. Must put up the pea netting and the broad bean supports.
Fairygirl, I expect your photos won't work because they are too big. The first time I tried I had a message to say they were too big. The message doesn't appear any more, but it worked when I changed my camera settings to medium instead of large. But I'm not a super photographer like you, I'm a happy snapper!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
