Morning all. The weather is proving quite changeable and doing its best to play havoc with my trying to organise my brain. I woke up at midnight freezing and had to get a hot water bottle! These new tablets are going to be blamed because at least I can focus my lack of beauty sleep on something easily changeable that way!

Working all weekend but I'll try to nip in and keep an eye on you all!

  • Morning all. So tired this morning! Got a lot of work to do this morning... but if I'm a good girl and get it done, I shall treat myself to an afternoon in the garden image

Hope everyone has a great day!

Have a good trip doc. Think the weather's turning colder for you unfortunately. Hope you packed your simmit  image

Enjoy your day of 'dandling'  lily. Is that a Scottish term or does everyone use it?

Gelato sounds good Dove - have it while sitting in the garden. Double whammy  image

Full of the cold now but at least it's Friday. I think I can struggle through work like a brave little soldier though....image

Hope everyone has a good day image

    Good morning all, hi Patimage

Have a good journey Pdocimage.  Pat I'm glad that HRH is a bit better.  The antibiotics must be workingimage

Rb it's really good to 'see' you againimage.  You're right I do seem to be a walking disaster area (except everything stops me from walking).  It's a good job that Fairy does all the walking for usimage.

I managed to start planting some of the many pots I've collected but, on looking at them again, a few need movingimage.  I'll get it right eventually, maybe.  OH has been getting to grips with the weeds in the last few days so I've got to keep him motivated to carry on.

Well done with the talk Lizzieimage.  They obviousky realise what a good gardener you are to invite you to judge the flower showimage.  Quite an honour.

Loved the pic of Reggie Clari.  What a handsome chap.

    Enjoy Nanna duties lilyimage.

Morning allimage Later start than normal - working from home today so the commute is not as longimage

Enjoying having Chicklet home but, due to some bad timing, I am going away for the weekend.  I go away once a year with my sisters (leaving all partners, children and dogs behind at home).  We've been doing it for about 15 years.  This year we are headed to Lake Garda .....never been, but hoping for some stunning sceneryimage......and lots of coffee and cake?☕️?☕️

So play nicely whilst I am goneimage and I'll see you Tuesday morning.

    Morning all.

Lake Garda is beautiful, Chicky, we went there in September 2014. I hope you have a lovely time.

Going to a Committee meeting. See you later.

Lake Garda is beautiful but I don't recall ever having good cake on our frequent trips to Italy.   Great food otherwise and great coffee.

Sunny here and fresh and breezy because last night we had a spectacular thunder storm with impressive lightening to the north so we could watch it all from our living room windows.   Been on cleaning duties this morning - floor washing mostly - as I have visitors coming but I will manage a couple of hours getting myself mucky this pm once I've done posters for next year's dance classes.

I need to llift a big hosta and split it and there's a rose I need to move - bit late I know - and nursery pots to clean up and repot and all those spring weeds to carry on clearing.........
