Hi Dove. thanks for the comment about the knitting. It was a b.. to do, again, I don't know what it is about this pattern book , but everything is a challenge. I suppose I should be glad my old brain is being exercised. 76 next month ( it makes me feel a bit strange to think it's only 4 years until I'm 80.) still sort of healthy, so "me no complain".
Morning all/afties Pat. That's a beautiful view. Well done with the knitting - I could just about manage a 'scarf'...
Work for me, but that's life. Cloudy today but yesterday started like that so hopefully it will clear a bit. Will have to shop later so not likely to get anything done outside. Need to plant the sweet peas out though. I might leave the pickaxe today....
Good decision doc.
Have a good day everyone - enjoy your day off if you have one. I'm not jealous really. Not at all. Honestly. It's fine. I'm not bothered...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hi Fairy. My photos don't compare with you lovely mountain scenery. But the sun was so strong I couldn't resist catching it. It's been overcast all day, so it must have snuck in under the clouds. It's already dark.
hello all, went to Eyam hall yesterday, they had sweet peas flowering! Off to Hardwick Hall today ( my favourite, but since we got Chatsworth membership also been nearl every weekend can't get kids out of playground)) apparently there's a rose festival.. don't know what it will consist of hope it's good! Have a lovely day everyone

Couldn't resist this photo just now, 4.45pm and the late sun is hitting the range.

Morning all.
Lovely photo Pat, the mountains are glowing
It was overcast here but the cloud is breaking up now and letting the sun poke through.
We will all think of you Fairy and commiserate
but bucks will be needed for the hot border.
Morning all. Haven't read back much yet; struggling to wake myself up! More tea required.
Hi Kitty. Thanks.
Meant to say also, that I'm behind Pdoc all the way.
