Morning all! The rain is falling BUT I'm in bed awaiting a mug of tea so it's all good.

Hi everyone. Weather wise, I'm not very happy with last night's effort. We still had gale force winds, so I didn't waste the effort of putting hort fleece over the chilli and tomato plants, and guess what, overnight the wind dropped and Hubby has informed me that there was a frost. Typical! I've checked the plants and can't tell yet if they have been damaged. Sometimes it takes a couple of days for it to show up.

We did get rain on Sunday morning, but it was only 3.5mm, so not really worth getting excited about.

Good morning all image G'day Pat image

I'm in bed and OH has just delivered a mug of coffee image

It's overcast this morning, and damp, but it seems definitely milder than of late - I've not been out to check the temps yet this morning image

I think we may be going to the zoo today http://www.banhamzoo.co.uk/visit-the-zoo/

Hello Dove. Enjoy your coffee and lay-in. We were a bit reluctant to get out of bed this morning. The bedroom was a tad chilly.

    Good morrow all.

Taking OH to hospital this morning to see the neurosurgeon who did her back.  Very slow recovery, which is not good, but possibly normal image

Then tomorrow I must start getting ready to go back to dear old Blighty.

  • We were planning to go to the Brocante in Tisbury today, but the weather looks a bit iffy. Am hoping OH takes the initiative and mows the lawn before it starting raining!

I think today may be a 'carry on with the lounge renovations' day, after yesterday's epic B&Q trip.
