Y - granddaughter won't like being out of action but it will get easier with the lighter plaster.
Clari - sorry you're not up to scratch. Take care of yourself.
OH a lot brighter so I've managed to have a shorter day at the hospital. They will decide tomorrow whether more blood transfusions are requiredThanks for all the hugs
Glad OH is brighter Joyce, should be a good sign. More hugs.
I've been in the strawberry bed today. Bindweed had come under the paddock fence in the winter, been a real job digging it up but I bet I haven't got it all. Luckily most of the strawberry plants survived the winter.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Joyce I hope they decide your OH doesn't need more transfusions. It must be a relief to see him a bit brighter. ((Hugs))
((Hugs)) to Dove, Wonky and family for tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you.
It's been a busy day with SM, taxi duties and h/w. I did manage to get a few plants in the ground before the promised rain which hasn't materialised yet so I've been out watering. It's bound to pour down soon then.
If you're looking in Fairy I hope you're feeling better.
Thank you everyone for the hugs and best wishes for Dove and I for tomorrow x
I've just spoken to Dove and she's shattered and having a kip on the sofa, so your all to keep the noise down and no crazy parties!
Clari, maybe playing ball with Reggie at 4am not helping fatigue? but I understand, I've run outside in a dressing gown before..purple of course...and backed up Flatters in a cat stand off on many an occasion at the same sort of ungodly hour!
DD hope you get some great plants with your real money! you will have to fess up tho, but only on here!
Yvie, hugs to granddaughter, and her elbow, poor thing! Good thing the weather isn't hot at the moment, casts can be itchy, speedy recovery to her x
Glad you had a nice day in the garden with the sunshine Pdoc
Kef, Flatters is a happyboy as I'm now leaving the greenhouse open all the time so he has a second abode, 80's crome and leather reclined deckchair in there with a blanket on...left him there this morning, still there when I came home from work! Anyone else here want to come back as a cat?!
Panda, hope frozen arm heals/thaws x
Plantpauper, loved you thought for the day! thank you
Joyce, very glad your OH had a better day today, best wishes and I hjope he keeps on improving x
And thank you just for being yourselves and here to Hosta, GWRS, Hazel, Lesley, Bushman, Lilyp, SGL, Fairy, Keen, Pat, Steve, DD, Yvie, Kef, Pdoc, Joyce, Verdun, BusyL, Archie, DavidK, Marian, Flumpy, Hollie, Flowers, Fidget, and everyone so glad this forum is sticking together! Its the people that make it! X
Wonky; you're right a certain puppy won't be helping with the fatigue but he is so very spoilt and gets his own way far too often.
Just watered all my pots; that guaranteed the rain starting!
Lily; unfortunately I've been having far too many quick sugar fixes to keep me ticking over of late. To settle my stomach issues I've got to detox off sugar as much as I can.
But that'll have to wait till after my scout camp at the weekend!
