Evening all I'm undecided, but I guess the format will take some getting used to! Not a big fan of change me either but am prepared to persist, even if I'm not on very often anymore.....
To be fair, I left Bernard open at the Forkers page so haven't attempted navigation yet
Evening all! Yup change is unsettling! but we will get used to it guys and girls! We need to iron out some bugs...
Firstly if the page is that long, then we need page turning options at top and bottom.
Secondly, the number of the page you are actually on needs to be shown in an alternative colour to the rest.
The type needs to be bolder. I believe it should be as easy and obvious to navigate as possible. We are gardeners, we don't have the time to decipher pretty websites, we want clear and simple sites. We will add the pretty ourselves with pictures of our gardens...right?! Or Reggie! Eh Clari!
So my day today was lovely. Not bad for a day at work!
Firstly it was beautiful sunshine, we took the chap I support out for a picnic and walk at Alton waters again and saw our swan that mugs you for you lunch! Tried to take a picture of him but he swiped the camera from our hand/ shielded his face and hissed "no paps!" then we went for a walk and found so geese and their goslings so thought I'd show you.... But I can't get the pictures to load!
Then we drove through this pretty village called ErWharton, with the most breath taking hall and gate house. Apparently it was the uncle of Anne Boleyn that lived there and her heart was brought back to the local church. So that was interesting.
Then the highlight of the day and any local folk to Suffolk take note! I passed a plant stand in a drive in a village named Harkstead. The plants continued up the drive and the gentleman invited me to see his garden which went on for yonks! He said he sold plants all the time at local sales, he allowed me to go round and just say what I wanted!
I came away with 3 crocosmia Lucifer
2 gaillardia bright bicolour, 1 Arizona
1 miscanthus zebrinus
1 miscanthus graziella
For the grand total of £14! I told him I'm his new stalker!
I'd love to show you the pictures but new website won't let me!
Best wishes to all and please please no one leave! We will overcome! And adapt and moan and complain for a bit until the little niggles get ironed out xx

If all you wonderful, knowledgeable gardeners leave, please tell me where you're going, I want to come too
Not getting any email notifications.
Very quiet on here tonight.
Flower lover I second that
I think we're all a bit disgruntled with the changes SGL
I usually pop in around this time to see what people have been doing.
I do hope there are some morning posts.
