Could your OH come and dig up the bits of concrete at the back of my 'stension Dove? They're right where the edge of the new border will be....image

Tree's going to be smart - your pix weren't there when I posted. I love Amelanchier. Great for wildlife  image

    Evening all,

Sorry about your unfortunate messages Pdoc.

Have been busy in the garden today.  Cleaned out the greenhouse now all the plants have been either moved outside or planted.

Popped to Ashwoods this morning and bought a new pot for my 2 clematis which are due to be delivered later this week.  Grandchildren arrived lunchtime so we played tea parties in the gardenimage

Hope your neck improves ready for your holiday Dove.

    Evening all.

Survived day 1 back at work.

Suffering now as I only had 3 hours sleep last night and have just finished watering the tunnels.

punkdoc, I'm with Fairygirl. Name and shame. I've no time for those who hide behind " privacy" to do their dirty work.

In 4 days, the VIP visitors will be here. Sooooooooooooooooo much to do before then.

    Devon.

PDoc - if you don't want to name and shale you should at least report them to Daniel.   It's cyber bullying and not acceptable.

Hosta - I've posted nearly all mt Chelsea photos now.  Loads of hostas, especially in the pavillion album with labels......   Hope you sleep better tonight.

Dove - look's like a good day's work and OH deserves a treat.

Envious of those suffering from heat but probably just as well we've had rain nearly all day or I'd be up till 2am doing photos instead.

We're about to have dinner.  Organic Duchy roast pork with crackling - I can only get belly pro with skin on here - with Jersey Royals, broad beans and broccoli then rhubarb crumble for pud.  Post UK diet starts tomorrow!

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Fairy - OH says he's not got time before the holiday, but if you get the tools out we'll do a bit of a loop on our journey back from Cornwall and he'll sort your concrete out for you.  image

Hosta, put your feet up ......... I've planted three of your grasses image

Neighbour has just been round - she'd got the dates of her holiday wrong - she'll be back the day after we leave, so she's had a guided tour of the garden and will feed hedgehogs and water anything that needs it including the new tree and the tomatoes image

    Evening all.

I misread your post, Archiepem, & thought you'd had burglars...  image

Great to have good neighbours, Dove.  Your amelanchier & border look lovely!

Glad you're feeling a bit better, Fairy - and the walk sounds super...

A happy few hours in the garden, sowing more veg and removing more weeds.  Lovely to get the washing dry outdoors in 3 hours.  image

Off to look at Obelixx's Chelsea pics, and post some more myself I think...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
