Unashamed Eurovision watchers in my house. We love the camp, crazy and downright weirdness of the show, all accompanied with a good sized glug of wine and some tasty treats.
To those who last saw it when Abba won (over 30 years ago) how can you say it's awful if you don't watch.
Time for a cuppa... Nice being able to pop in and out again and feel a little more orientated on the forum.
KEF
Shall we invite ourselves round to Dove's for a sing song then ? I can do post-modern ironic with the best of them Can bring gin, wine and beer as required and individual apple and almond crumbles with clotted cream (as a homage to the forthcoming Cornish holiday).
We could pop Pat in the tardis and she could come and join us - perhaps WW could bring some of her famous goat curry? Anyone else want to come?
A little Forkers Eurovision party...
OK with you Dove??

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Funny you should say that Topbird, I have a fresh batch in the freezer! I would have to be allowed to wear headphones though as I can't stand pop music! especially europop! I do get the ironic vantage but my tolerance is very low! I tend to feel that I would want that time back when my days were numbered!
I say we but hubby will most definitely be watching sport or a movie in the other room whilst my girls, their Friend's and I will be offering up our best critique on costumes, hair, performance etc.
I think we may have been knocked off the top spot of most hated this year due to Merkel's open door policy. Feel a bit sorry for the girl performing alone to represent Germany, the Russian act got booed after the annexation of Crimea in 2014.
Runny - of course you can come - wouldn't be the same without YOU. The more the merrier
I am very free with my invitations to Dove's house!!!
I'll try to find the karaoke machine so we can sing-along to all the old faves - Congratulations, Puppet on a String, Making Your Mind Up - those were the days
Who's coming in Abba costume?
