Hosta - one of those cannas you gave us is springing into life image  Sadly the smaller one is an ex-canna and has gone to the compost heap image  Everything else is looking good and OH is busy digging the new bed so they'll all have homes to go to very soon.

I've got a bit of a quandary - a Cornish friend visited here last autumn, bringing with her two kiwi cuttings - a male and a female, but she wasn't sure which was which - one of them hasn't survived the winter image image

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Fabulously sunny morning, looks like we'll have the same all day!

    Morning all image

H built the veggie pot stand yesterday, still a work in progress as needs another shelf and some modifications (including painting)... will be getting a few more pots for it today so I can add to my measly display. Not sure it's looking as 'rustic' and 'reclaimed' as I originally imagined yet.... :/

Morning all /afties Pat - gorgeous pic image

Dove - like your table -  did you have those with chips?

Always progress KBG - you'll have loads to put on your stand soon. By the time it's had a couple of winters, it'll look more rustic  image

Beautiful day here after a heavy frost. Not sure how well my grass will look in 6 weeks time...I dare say it'll survive with some tlc...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all.

Cloudy but not raining. I'll be in the veggie garden this morning, sowing and planting, and planting onion sets. Going out to tea this afternoon.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    G'day all.

Just had coffee in the garden, still a frost on the lawn, but lovely and sunny.

Shame they are predicting snow for the weekend!
