Panda hugs xx I don't recommend ice cream on a raw tooth cavity !! PAIN.
Maybe pain relief Vodka through a stray and avoid the cavity...says me who sucked crisps after having 4 wisdom teeth removed Pig that I am. Crisps were the only thing I could open my mouth wide enough to shove in Take care xx
4thPanda try oil of cloves if you can that is what the dentist told me to use, helped sooth the pain or maybe was just the taste but took my mind of it anyway
Panda: Gin ice cream sounds good to me! (Perhaps I should have the ice cream and you the gin?)
I'm sat at work waiting for a troop of scout leaders to arrive so that they can risk assess the place for their camp (not this weekends camp: I've got 10 or 11 booked in this year. I don't think my brother went of that many camps as an actual scout! Should I be making myself a camp blanket do you think? I certainly need something its freezing in here). Hopefully they'll not be too late. Its horrid to have to do a long day (and even more horrid trying to navigate Sheffield in rush hour) but they are volunteers with lives of their own so I try my best to make things as easy as I can (especially when they're paying to visit the museum = my wages get paid!)
Most of the food has been purchased so I can relax knowing that they'll not starve (I hate the concept of a person going hungry and so provide far too much instead!) I just need to collect the huge chocolate cake and sandwiches tomorrow.
Rock on Monday when I can relax and HOPEFULLY potter in the garden!
Thumbs up for the gin Panda - anaesthetic, antiseptic, stress reliever - it's nearly a health food - should be available on prescription (Tanqueray No 10 for preference)
Hope you feel better soon chuck x
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Topbird , nearly health food , I thought it was , particularly, " export strength "
Ice cream can take it or leave it
Clarington , camp blanket sounds like a good idea , you could a Bagde from each group to sew on it , keep warm , neice is working at Imperial War Museum London
Well, the forecast was wrong, I'm happy to say - it brightened up by 9.30 and remained almost entirely dry (though rather windy) all day. So - did I go clothes shopping? I most certainly did not. Gardening is far more important.
Hope you sleep ok tonight, Panda, with or without appropriate anaesthetic, and feel more comfortable in the morning. Just don't try eating muesli for a bit. (I had my wisdom teeth out when I was expecting my firstborn, 38 years ago - cos dental treatment is free when you're pregnant. I can still remember how it felt... - the extraction I mean, not the muesli...)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Oooh the imperial war museum?! That's brilliant what an exciting place to be!
I like the idea of the badges for a blanket! Might need to investigate that further.
Home safe and feeling most chuffed that the scout leader was... a District Commissioner who was most impressed with the paperwork we provide to make their life easier. I just hope the camp is as good!
Feet up now. Guess I better think about some food. I feel much better this evening so best eat while I can before the next dose.
