keen it's my hands that ache the most today and think we are both due to suffer more tomorrow! Hope you are stocked up with pain killers
Good morning dove Joyce and panda x
hope you have good day at work fairy and the stress of the build is not getting to you too much xx
BM, for once, I did remember to take some pics yesterday before I started.
The biggest problem I have, is that I'm determined to move a large " rock" over a cubic metre in size. I only want to move it about 2m, but it really , really needs to be moved.
I'm being very naughty this morning and ducking my French lesson. I've had a busy morning already, had to scrape ice off the car to get to bakery at crack of dawn before I even started. Now guests have gone, Charlie is in school and OH is in UK. Just enjoying an empty house, a leisurely breakfast and a browse of the internet. Lots to do in the garden but it can wait, I am being a rebel and sitting down for an hour in peace.

Actually not much good about it, cold, rain, and snow later.
OH's birthday, and our Wedding Anniversary this w/e, so taking her away to the Black Swan at Oldstead, in N. Yorks. Michelen starred restaurant with rooms. Hope weather improves.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
DD and Steve, the biggest problem is the rock is on soil, not on a solid surface. I have no idea how flat or otherwise it is on the bottom , or how much is under ground.
My theory is : lever it up one side at a time and gradually add wood underneath until I get it higher than the new position ( only needs to be lifted about .5m max I reckon). Then use cut railway sleepers I have and maybe corrugated tin on top to form a ramp and use 3" round fence posts to roll it into place.
