I haven't followed what our rules are, Fidget. It's all so overwhelming!  Can't help feeling sorry for them, but there must be a limit to how many people other countries can fit in. I often wonder how they survived in their own countries. Were they starving there? They don't look like they couldn't feed themselves. Is it really just because of military threats? Or is it that they think the "west" is the land of milk and honey, and take the opportunity to try to move? I don't know what is the true situation. Sometimes I just don't bother to turn the news on.

anyway, enough misery, I'm planning on getting outside today to get more tidying up in the garden and maybe plant some seeds. It's sunny, but the smoke is still in the valley.

Soggy out there after yesterdays rain, but looking like a better day to come.  Our magnolia has got into its stride now and is shining out there in the early morning light ....making me feel quite poeticimage.

We still have a roast dinner once a week - the girls love themimage.

Ooo - missed your greenery Pat ....very niceimage. Will they survive your coming winter?  I lived in America for a couple of years as a child, and remember eggplant and zuchinni (aubergine and courgettes).  Is your eggplant an aubergine?

Good morning Chicky image  and the rest of you as you arrive image and G'day to Pat image

Lovely plants - aubergines look so beautiful when they're growing image

Wonder how Hosta's doing?  He should be home with his feet up now.

Glad BL had a lovely day - which pub and which tea house were they?    We're not very well up on rural Norfolk pubs as we tend to head to Suffolk to see Ma when we've got a day to play ... we see her in the morning then have a pub lunch, but of course they're always pubs in the Southwold area which I know well.

One day we'll explore Norfolk pubs with more rigour! image

Yes Chicky. Both names are correct. They'll give up in winter. I dry the parsley and store it in jars,

    Hi all.

Misty this morning, due to be followed by rain.

Porn, of the plant variety it is then.

    Hope Hosta is well.
