    Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email, I can confirm that we do not source any of our plants from B&Q.

    Kind regards,

So hope that clears that one upimage.  Seems someone got their wires crossed, which is a shame.  I will be the first to admit that Crocus can be pricey, but I have found their quality always great, and they have an impressive range of stock. As one of the internet nursery pioneers in this country we owe them a debt for the choices we have available to us now, and I, for one, salute them.

And now (as they say on the GQT podcast) .....back to the weedingimage

Thank you for setting that straight, Chicky. I have only heard good reports of Crocus from English friends.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I too am a great fan of Crocus, an order arrived last week, on specified day, beautifully packed [ it always takes me hours to get the plants out ] no damage, and large healthy plants.

Verdun, I could do with you here fighting my corner.image

I called the doctor in today, got a new one, ( wow, if I was only a few years younger, or 50!) anyway, he prescribed something strong, I had to wait for OH to get home before I could go down there to get it, goes into the private room to talk about it, oh dear he says, the date run out ages ago, can you pop in tomorrow. No I said, ok he said, I'll have it brought out to you. Result!

So there's another night of stress and agitation all round.

Who said she wanted to move down here, all very pretty, just wait till you need some help, the Marie Curie nurse who's from Oxford, says she's never seen such laid back people! They all 'do it dreckly' down here, and no one really knows how long that can beimage

Good morning Joyce image and everyone else as you arrive image  G'day Pat image

Hurrumph!  I shall have to carry out an investigation in the little greenhouse - I've been bringing the tomato seedlings in and leaving the cosmos in the greenhouse overnight - something's eaten the tops off of two of the cosmos image

Morning all. We've only now got back from town - chiropractor for Hubby and grocery shopping for me. I'm worn out so sitting down with a cuppa and sudoku. Will read back later.
