I hope it goes well for Yvie's secondborn and the house is liveable in. We did a huge amount of work on our first house but I wasn't pregnant yet. Did a lot on our French house but the four children were already born. The French one was a real mess, not lived in for 6 years and had been broken into, doors and loos stolen. No garden but lots of land. This cottage in Norfolk was renovated to our taste by the nice young builder who bought it before us.
The garden table and chairs are coming this morning, I better go and get dressed.
I hope your day is OK, Dove, and Ma is peaceful.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Morning all sorry I'm late again nearly the afternoon for some of you
chicky I'm lee on the Solent so looking across to the IOW I use to stay here when I was working and had to visit the navel training establishments around, I always liked the area so when the opportunity came along to buy I did.
Busy day have all the equipment coming to start clearing the garden and the very kind farmer has told me I can use his field lane to get the skips to the back of the house.
I have a few friends coming for the weekend their in for a shock if the weather is good I will put them to work
Change of plan here! Bro is still in S'wold and will visit Ma today if I can do tomorrow and Monday - apparently she had a peaceful night and is sleeping soundly at the moment. She sleeps a lot so as he says, I might drive all the way there and she'd still be sleeping - and he has to go past in order to go back to the farm, so he'll pop in for a bit.
That means I can prick out my tomatoes - as soon as I've drunk my coffee and changed out of my smarter clothes
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all just had breakfast , nice and sunny off to buy compost
Solentwind , I use to live in lee on Solent 40 years ago for work bet it has changed a lot , remember Naval base Dadlaus - sure not spelt right - it was I think Fleet Air arm and Hovercraft base , happy days , best of luck with work

Breakfast outside this morning. Must have been mad, sunny, but cold.
Have been coppicing my Eucalyptuses, like to grow them as shrubs, the juvenile foliage is so nice.
Couldn't face the SM, this morning, so I expect I shall regret that tomorrow.
