Had a few (very few) drops of rain this morning and I got a bit excited but it came to nought. Warm , dry and overcast here in the woolly west.

  • I read that as woolly vest - not quite that cold here pp! How far west are you - I think the rain is moving up country from the south west - just to add to the misery of the rain is the foghorn blaring out at sea. Not nice for the cruise passengers today.

I'm wanting it to rain as my ground is pretty dry and my water butt is nearly empty, but the forecast keeps changing and the rain seems to disappear after they first forecast it.   I seem obsessed with the weather lately

  • A thunderstorm started here about 10 mins ago. Plenty of rain around the Birmingham/Staffs/Warwickshire border!

How come this thread got relegated to the bottom of the pile, are they trying to tell us something?
