Oh I feel for you Busy-Lizzie but at least you won't have to spend time watering all those lovely plants that you have! We have brilliant sunshine here today but with a sea mist - visibility of approx 3 miles at sea. About 16 degrees - higher out of the wind in a sheltered place.

Absolutely pouring down and windy and cold. image

Did I really get so very hot and bovvered just 2 days ago???? Still the garden needed a good watering and I've put quite a few plants in over the last months so not too many complaints at the moment.

Typical North East Coastal weather, low cloud, bitter cold North wind though the rain is holding off. I can usually see the Cleveland Hills, not today, up towards Durham looks bleak and somewhere to the west Darlington though finding it may be difficult. Roll on winter?

A few roads in this area now closed because of flooding.

When I asked for a little rain to water my garden I was thinking of 8 hours of gentle persistent rain between 9pm and 5am with no wind. It would just leave everything looking refreshed and perky - rather than the beaten flat, sodden mass which is out there at the moment..

Rain again. Think Dordogne is getting the same weather as Suffolk.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
