Heavy frost at 6am this morning - deep and white and crispy.   Still cold and windy here but dry so far despite heavy clouds scudding by.

Was planning to plant out my veggie plugs but they are staying tucked up for another couple of days at least and I shall have to get out the cloche tunnels to make sure they stay safe.

Mark Twain said "If you dont like the weather in England, wait 10 minutes".   I can remember frost in the SE June.   Lovelly sunny day yesterday, Ashdown Forest with the dogs.   Overcast today, had a few very short showers this week.   Frost on Wednesday, two other forecast, so big panic, covering up stuff in greenhouses, having to haul lots out during the warm days.

Beautiful sunny day - calm with blue sky - no coat needed for gardening!

I left my coat in the veg plot last night, took it off while I was sowing and forgot about it!  Lovelly day showing 18d (in the sun) yesterday, another completely cloud free day today.
