There are so many 'facts' being stated in the above posts but as with the stay and leave camps, to me they are just statements/interpretations/opinions etc. being trotted out to back up posters' beliefs.  For example, Verdun says we have already agreed to increased payments - who told you that Verdun?

I have stopped listening to the lot of them and will vote with my gut feeling on the day.

Aym, I've read your post twice and I don't understand it. Could you explain?

The countries that have re-introduced border controls are not 'ignoring the edicts of the EU'.

"If there is a serious threat to public policy or internal security, a Schengen country may exceptionally temporarily reintroduce border control at its internal borders for, in principle, a limited period of no more than thirty days. If such controls are reintroduced, the other Schengen countries, the European Parliament and the Commission should be informed, as should the public."

  • I'm staying out of this discussion, having already been told off for contributing.

Last comment, I am rather surprised to find much of this forum seems to be quite UKIP thinking and frankly, a bit disappointed.

Nope. But don't worry about itimage

  • When I saw the title of this thread I thought I'd not bother with it. However, curiosity got the better of me in the end and I had a read. Just as I suspected it would be, it is a mishmash of opinions, very little actual fact and a good dose of downright racist bigotry.

Seems strange on a forum, where so many members are so tolerant of all living things, that intolerance of other human beings is so prolific.

Oh, Steve, I am not in the least surprised that much of the forum are quite UKIP thinking and yes, it's very disappointing.

The presumption by some that UKippers hold sway is a misnomer. I am not a UKIP supporter and never will be. I am however looking for someone in the political spectrum to give me facts and not spin. There is however an age divide, and like life the older you get the better perspective you have.

  • Being a UKIP thinker does not necessarily make you a UKIP supporter and being older doesn't necessarily make you wiser or have a better perspective, it only makes you think you do.

By the way, I'm no spring chicken.
