  • I have some calendula seedlings starting do like the flowers

Martybenji hello welcome to the site, I am going to try making calendula balm

Went to the plot today harvested lots of celery, the frost has got most of my flowers so will need to clear them away

Seem to have road closed as massive hole in it to put gass pipe in and 3 way traffic lights now - was 4 ways the other day as they have been putting in gass pipe all down the road, now takes a lot longer to get to the plot going to be there for 2 weeks

Made pumpkin tarts and the cake/bread tasted good

Carried on laying a path, I've put some steps in as the plot is on a slope.

Brought a couple of chilli plants home to see if I can over winter them and get an early start next yr

Went to a local chilli fest and bought some chilli seeds.

I've loads of veg and flower seeds so will try to be more selective this yr.

  • Scroggin what do you do with celeriac?   I have small little plants kinda bulb bit,  never eaten them before and brought them at the allotment plant sale       Scroggin other thing can you come and dig my plot sounds like you are mainly there with yours

Went to the plot yesterday done a bit of clearing and small bit of digging harvested the rest of the celery, as knew it was going to be wet today,  I have painted one of my bird houses to make it look a bit like the other one to see if the birds will like it as the wood needed protecting

Need to get back on with the shed
