Zoomer , fine to put new horse manure on top of bed for winter and dig it in in spring , done that lots of times my self , glad ankle better

Put picture of pear tree leafs on site and advised it was pear rust , never heard of it but at least I known what it is , had already cut leavest off and put in fire bin

Brought home some garlic from storage shed to tie up

Hope alls well with everybody image

  • Notifications are back so much better

Was going to plot but ended up going to In-excess got a few bits in there string in nice colours, paint brushes, sealant that I hope will fix the water butt and a new pair of thick gloves

Wanting to see if plot 180 next to mine has anyone looking around as it is on reserve for someone,

My other neighbour that is along the top of my plot side-ways (that Had my wood on his plot to start with and taken over car park with pallets still for about 6 weeks now harder for cars to park - should be on his plot) was saying he is going to take on the plot and plant lots of fruit trees

He said he was waiting for the letter - hope it is not him want new people up our end as seems every plot that comes up near me gets taken on by someone right near by

I think when we were collecting strawberry runners Site Rep Lou was there we said about the shed door being stolen she said oh no and said a letter had gone out and they should be viewing the plot  so hope not him should of got the letter in the week before

    Rant over

Went to the allotment plot today done a small bit of weeding harvested loads of cucumelons and re covered shed

My seedlings of spinach, raddish are getting bigger

going to tip today before tomorrow when somethings you will have to pay for, soil and rubble will be one which is a bummer

Not posted for a while, I'm not getting notifications but been busy at home.

Went to plot last weekend and cleared a couple of beds, both had suprisingly few weeds after mini pop and sunflower plants were cut down. The bed's have been hoed though before weeds showed and they are narrow beds. Just need to put muck on them.

I've Leek's, kale and broccoli over winter, not so sure about Brussels. I've still got fennel, lettuce and beetroot which looks good to pick.

Beans are hanging in and raspberries.

Good day at allotment , took up used cmopost from home , grow bags spread on a bed and pots emptied in compost Bin

    Had real good burn up

And finally cut up metal water cube frame but will keep it as it makes 4 climbing frames

Beans finished and last years broccoli now flowering left for moment as other jobs to do

Finish off cleaning g/h to day , hoping to get to plot at weekend

    Best wishes everybody image
