Hello after sorting out a massive pile of bits yesterday at plot for bonfire today about 1metre high of stuff, went to the allotment today had a massive bonfire in small bin to burn brambles from off plot with help of some bits of fence wood which does burn well - may have a few small holes in trousers now bit - not so good
Found out who new owner is of plot next to me as they were strimming it all down today, it is Ross from the plot along in front of mine oh well wanted new people up this end not happened
Me want to get on with doing the shed again this week top layer
Scroggin is the shed for home or for plot
Think I need a new fire bin as bit of a hole in bottom of this one now, have to add to plan where I want the area then may get few paving slabs for under it
Moved finished pallet benches to patio now so will take pics and add to here and pallet thread
Hello , can't beat a good bunfire , lots of rubbish and wood in car park to be taken away by Farmer that owns land , he had his own rubbish tip , so got a load of wood and burnt weeds etc on Saturday
Hoping to go to plot Tommrow
Have to say having a shed at the very start was best decision we made
Grew tomatillos for first time ok at home but loads on allotment
Weather turning cold , cleaned g/h at home and bubble rapped it
Hi all, its getting colder so will harvest my butternut squash and store them. not got round to bubble wrapping greenhouse yet, still have tomatoes ripening in there. Did'nt go to plot yesterday, it was hubbys birthday so we went to Snowshill Manor, Broadway to have a look round the garden, very beautiful location, took lots of lovely photos
GWRS would of been good to have a shed a beginning of taking on plot, still I will get there with building it - more maths for me today with measuring pallet planks for out side of shed
Been to allotment sowed my peas meteor, got to see people looking at plot 169b the other plot I was offered wish they were my neighbours - first time I have ever seen any new looking at a plot
Been to allotment today sawing, drilling and sorting out my shed, just need to collect loads of pallet planks for the outside and sort though the ones I have in a pile on plot sorted some.
some for decking and compost bins - there where some big spiders under the plastic and pallets
Done a bit of painting of my scaffold boards nearly enough for one raised bed
