Gg, neighbour sounds arrogant, if he's had another plot for 7 yrs, he knows the rules...I'd be inclined to e-mail the council, let them know you've taken back your wood but that he has also been on your plot and taken a pallet.

I'd ask them to clarify the rule about not going on each other's plots and ask their advice about what to do if it happens again.

Gardengirl , you have been busy , toasted marshmallows sound good , I would either put ash in compost bins or just spread on a bed and rake it in image

I would make sure you get your pallett back , he sounds a cheeky bloke !

Popped up to plot this afternoon for couple of hours , more tidying up and shreding  on paths , replanted some self sown flowers , not sure what they are

Cold wind today but sunny and dry , perfect Allotment wether image

    Thanks all about ash comments

Went to the plot yesterday done some more cutting of brambles and another bonfire was a bit windy had to put out a small bit of grass on fire -  me now washed and smell better, washed clothes and had to spray coat bonfires do smell

As clearing the bottom of the plot and beyond thought I saw a tyre pain to get rid of, then cleared more bramble over it looked different and turned it up the upside down and it was a tyre planter amazing but in rules not allowed tyres on the plot

Ginagibbs he is deffiently cheaky sure He must of put bit of rubbish in dirt on my plot old tin prob from his plot, he has put a pile of boards in the car park then got horse manure delivered on them could of got it at end of plot like the last plot holders did

Aster2 that what I was thinking if he grows potatoes he will not have to be there much - hopfully

Zoomer44 you would think he would know the rules but he is the one that had a cockeral on his other plot and kept getting complants about it - but someone said that he knows when council coming to checks and removes it for a bit - not sure if it is still there

GWRS was busy great to be able to do bits  and nice and sunny most of the time

now in pain muscles and scratches and bramble spikes hurt lots on hands and nettle stings that were bad still sore

Gardengirl , on our site anything left in car park is for use of anybody , perhaps you could have some of his manure ! Be cheeky back image

I found some tyres , 5 in total and planted herbs in mine , rosemary and curry plant done particularly well , very difficult to get rid of

Hope acres , pains and stings soon get better

Happy allotmenteering to everybody , Spring neatly hear image

Hope the weather is dry at the weekend. I usually check but the weather forecast icon at the top of the screen has disappeared!

Zoomer you are right about weather icon

Personally I have the BBC weather app on my iPad and it right more than wrong

very cold wind , it is our AGM / rent pay day on Sunday , hoping to go up , keen to replant rasberrys image

    hope you are keeping well

I actually got to spend more than half an hour at my plot proper today! We've been so busy with the chicken plot that mine kinda started being a bit neglected image I've cleared the strawberry bed of straw and deadness and put a cloche over one of the rows to see if I get any sooner strawbs image I dug over my front bed, planted a load of onion sets and put the frame over it to keep the birds out. Rhubarb has been manured and I had a fab time!

There is plenty to do still but it will be easier when he's off work next week because we will both work both plots image

you are lucky having 2 plots Fruitcake. Got a bit excited earlier in the week cos our allotment warden thought the guy next to me had given up and I would be able to take over. Email council to find he has paid up for this yearimage She suggests I speak to him and ask if he wants to let some of it to me (he only grows a few spuds and has a full size plot!!)

Just lost £5 on the Gold Cup, obviously not my weekimage
