Hi went to allotment yesterday they had a plant sale brought some patty pan to try see what it is like, celeriac as mine from seed not grow, peas and a cucumber - Hope my seeds grow not show yet,  I made a lemon drizzle cake to help with donations

On plot dug over trial bed area - couch grass has tried to take over such a pain took a long time to dig over a smaller area, got in a few pea sticks and the pea plant I brought bit further ahead than mine, also dug out weeds which were over gladioli bulbs they have grown and have little bulb lets on moved to other area with same bulbs

GWRS nice that you got to plot my chard needs pulling out as going to seed

    Thanks scroggin

Found celery in Homebase so brought some and some red lettuce also compost to plant out the potatoes in bags

Went to the allotment done some digging to carry on with the bark path off my plot, still a bit to go there, Sorted out strimming a bit wanted to strim more but strimmer broke on me will try and see if it can be fixed - as it got left for a while with petrol in and oil it was smoking a bit when strimming and then stopped and won't re start image

Got to watch my blue tit going in the house not sure if one or two of them,  also saw a vole in neighbours compost area as he was digging it out so cute and got free eggs from the chickens nice Easter eggs from them

Hello , hoping to get to plot soon

We have 2 robins at the allotment on , 1 on each half , I have started putting mealie worms out for them

Gardengirl, strimmer doesn't sound to good image

  • I got all my seeds and whatnot ready to go in the ground, and some net cloches to cover them. Also my cauliflower seems to be sprouting in the propigator.  Down side, half the plot needs digging over, although my dad is coming round to visit tomorrow....

GWRS my strimmer may need to be replaced when emptied the petrol and oil out of the tank  - a tube thing came out not seen it before and not in the instruction book -  think it is the hose to the primmer (primmer - bubble blob that you push up to take the fuel up) so now will not work will have to get it sent off to be tested

Means long armed cutters to use on the nettles which takes longer and harder on arms
