Hi all, it rained all day yesterday so my plans went to pot.image  Got another 8 bags of horse muck down though for my new raised beds, Sowed more sweet peas and some broad beans. Tomatoes are now ready to prick out, looking a bit leggy nowimage not grown chick peas, might give them a try this year.

I have wet and dry day jobs, one of the advantages of having a GH?.

Chillies and Aubergine's are developing true leaves, they've been ever so slow and lost some to damping off. Plan to sow toms this weekend.

We've had nights of -2..But no snow in this part of Lancashire.

Good news about the GH, Scroggin, don't know  what I'd do without mine, it's nearly full with seedlings at present.

Planted out more onions, garlic and shallots. Lots of gladioli bulbs and some iris which had been started in the GH.

Tulips left in from last year have flowered again and should be able to start picking rubarb soon.

    Happy growing everyone ?

However , it has been very sunny , my o/h tells me we have had frosts , still plenty of time to get sowing done

    GWRS, hope all is well.

Gg, 40 gladioli bulbs were the offer with GW mag, yellows and reds. About 60 or 70 bulbs were saved from last yr,  a mix of colour.

I also, spent the day sorting out the back garden. I want to make it low maintenance, the plan is to extend the lawn and take up the raised veg beds.Painted the fence today....

Zoomer , why not plant raised beds in garden with ground covering plants for colour ? Just a thought
