Haven't had time to garden the last week, visits from children and grandchildren. But I have done watering and have picked loads of tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes and runner beans. Had the odd onion too which are almost ready to harvest. The red sweet peppers are getting big and green. The mangetout peas and broad beans were over some time ago, lots in the freezer. Same for the raspberries, but the autumn ones will be ready soon.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Went to Airbourne at Eastbourne, 25degrees, so hot on the beach. Got back cut grass, and edges. Yesterday, picked Blueberries,Blackberries,Raspberries, had them with merengues and cream. I know, ridiculous world, too much rain in some areas, drought in others, Obesity criisis, here, starvation there!
Wow,GWRS, how much is that? Watered everything, early or so I thought, baskets didnt look happy gave everything a good soaking then took out some plants from one pot into another, and guess what, quarter of an inch down they were bone dry! Talking of sculptures, Eastbourne Pier almost burnt down 2 yeas ago, a "rusty metal" flame has been made using the damaged metal from the pier and the 2p coins from the machines (it was the arcade that went up in flames) how cool is that, I hope the are going to put lights in it when they deside whereabouts on the sea front to place it. I inherited a couple of stone statues here, and have a "rusty" garden mirror and giant metal spiders web, - complete with spider!

Nanny Beach , put a picture on , they sound interesting
Sulpture probable a couple of thousand ?
My strimmer came home from hospital.
I'm very happy and very tired.
Lots of bits of my garden are very trimmed.
Now your garden is trimmed how do you feel about coming and doing mine?
Once my white knuckle subsides I'll be straight over BL.
My fingers feel as if they're full of lemonade (or other fizzy beverage).
I know it's pathetic and sad but I kissed my strimmer when I brought it home. I was so... (Hazel ) happy.
I strimmed till I ran out of string.
