    That's nice PP

I did a bit of nettle and goosegrass pulling earlier, then it rained. Came in indoors. Then it stopped. went out again, rained again. Just setting up for another try, black clouds looming

Thanks nut. It's full of beasties although I haven't seen so many snails lately. They're pointy well behaved ones who stay in the pond. I like that. Can't be doing with anything that might come after me! image I had an episode with a 2cm frog a while back and I don't know who jumped highest...though I have my suspicions. image

Was in a goody-goody mood earlier and even though I wasn't appropriately attired I collapsed the teetering towers of pots and stacked them properly. Even collected some labels off the ground and brought them in to cleanimage

Think most gardeners have the "shall I change?" dilemma when we need to nip out! I think it's wholly acceptable to visit a garden/DIY centre in the 'scruffs' - although you will always bump into somebody you know and 'apologise' for your outfit... silly really!

I have a collection of 'scruffs' by my back door - various layers to add if it's chilly, drizzling etc. I have dipped into mine today as we have had a mixed bag of weather. Just some dead-heading and pottering today. New Lily opened today.image

Weeded all around my veggie patch, hid in GH whilst it poured down, bit more weeding, bit more hiding and so on.

Dead-headed roses, cut back some bushes (bit more hiding!), harvested potatoes grown in bags, pulled some radishes and had a tidy up of a load of trimmings that the OH had left lying around image

Now relaxing with a glass of wine and waiting for the footie to come on! image

Love that nutcutlet. Sun is at it's best now so newly mown lawn looks superb. Just catching up on news and Wimbledon... might have a Pimms.
