I bought some bought it says soil must be moist before and 2 weeks after application, it isnt! joyce21 send me your rain! Have cut the grass, watered, so much to do.
Note for Andy Leeds: sorry to disappoint you but the 'hole in the side of their heads' is wot they breathe through! Maybe the nematode treatment is working, but it all goes on internally....
Tried to dig out an Ivy growing up the side of the garage; mixed results. SBK next week, I think. Dragged a load of garden waste to the recycling centre, whoo. And more excitingly, found an old art nouveau garden wall hanging thingy (technical term) made of wood and cast iron in the local vintage salvage shed, so bought it and spent a while sanding off the goo. Now to decide where to put it and what to grow up it...
Oh, Geum sounds lovelly, I know exactly where to put it, my garden!!!! Actually raining when I got up, so nematodes here we come! To think I went out late last night, - just before bed and watered everything.Glad I cut the grass yesterday at least.

Just some weeding no time do more tomorrow
Migraine....gardener down!!!!
Went out to check (without expectation) if the nematodes I watered in yesterday had done anything.
All of these were out - strange in itself, and all had small holes in the sides of their heads. Looks like the nematodes are having a feast :-)

Ah never mind - hadn't looked at them in great detail before
. They didn't look happy, in a sluggy kind of way
Planted up the hanging baskets and clipped box. Greenhouse is starting to look very empty now.
