removed 2 clematis from pots, now both in ground.
hope they survive?
goldfinch, I've moved 5 from biggish pots into large wooden planters, but still have 9 to find homes.
Hi thanks.
I had to break the pot to remove the plant, there were about 3 inches of root, tightly coiled around, no compost!
i will rehome the remaining 4 tomorrow, I hope they all survive.
goodluck with the other 9,
mine were not as potbound as you describe, but I'm sure they'll all survive, yours and mine.
before
after
My goodness - you've gained another 6ft of garden
Sowed Zinnia, Cosmos, peas, turnips, nasturtiums and malva seeds.
Pricked out various seedlings into pots.
Potted on a salvia cutting that has taken.
Planted a rose.
Put some grass seed on bare patches on the lawn.
Made a couple of mini firs into standards.
Tidied out the outhouse.
Picked some grubs out for the birds.
Had another go at geranium cuttings.
Make a batch of jam tarts and ate most of them throughout the day! Lovely!
