Day Three of my campaign against the advance of ivy, phygelius and Bramble from my neighbour's garden VIA the 150-year old limestone wall dividing our plots! Secateurs and heavy welder's gauntlets, plus eye protection needed too. Is shredding an option, followed by composting?? Pity not to gain by my labours, 'cos the neighbour is of the 'let Nature take its course' type - ie does nowt in the garden!!
Hoped I might get rid of my chicken furniture today so I could start prepping to turn the olde hen pen into a lawn but the dude who said he wanted them cancelled on me again and changed his mind to boot
Trimmed my side of my neighbours conifer hedge before the birds start nesting, it's getting a few brown patches - hope it isn't disease ridden - I like that hedge
Ordered an excessive amount of plants, including some that I have no idea where to put and feel entirely unashamed
Hope the weather's nice tomorrow, bit damp and gloomsville today...
Potted on Knautia, Salvia, Acanthus mollis, and three heathers I bought at Morrisons this afternoon. Sowed Cosmos Ladybird Lemon. All done on kitchen table 'cos it was too cold outside this evening

Wanted to go shopping at the garden centres today but I wasn't dressed warmly enough after gym so will look tomorrow instead
Digging new beds and lots of planting part deux. Still doesn't look quite right arghhhhh.
I've cleared a load of brambles and stuff from the bank below the lake. But I can't get photos to upload today.

Dull cold day here today. Spent the afternoon in conservatory sowing more seeds and took some more pelargonium cuttings. I need a bigger propagator!
