Ive just had an early morning peek in the greenhouse. So much activity! Seeds germinating, seedlings putting on new leaves, cuttings taking. Wish so much that I could have a day in there.
Instead I have to drive for almost 4 hours to go curling...yes, brushing ice when I'd rather be brushing my garden path. Corporate client entertaining - roll on retirement...only 20 years to go.
I finally got around to dividing my bamboo plant today (well, one of them), it's now 3 plants and has been moved over to my dad's container garden (hopefully making a bit of a screen between him and the nosey neighbour I also took him a dozen plants from my greenhouse which makes more room for pricking out seedlings.
I did a bit of weeding and realised that the forget-me-not seeds that I sprinkled last year have emerged and I now have quite a few forget-me-nots flowering
I used to flatly refuse corporate get togethers, and never got slapped for it my argument was always time better spent elsewhere
time spent in the garden got most of my underplaying achieved beneath monster phormium
started arranging potted plants out in the last areas cleared. Still umming and aRRing a lot but I've got plenty of time to decide. Potted up all my rescue plants left laying around this past week or two , well I've never much subscribed to the emergency dying plant BS when neglected plants refuse to die in protest or else I just grow stubborn species
been down to g/centre got 2 nice blue berry plants ( put in a bucket of water dry as a bone ..) and 3 cues 3 peppers the frost other week killed them of the g/centre had some lovely concrete planters £45

Well, placed an order with Dorset Perennials this morning - I blame this thread entirely!
I've chosen collect as it's only 25 minutes from me, so at least I'll get to go have a peek at the place..

Yesterday I spent a good hour pulling bitter cress out in my Mum's garden.
Today, I did a bit more tidying of the front garden including attempting to dig out some Japanese Anemones.
Then watered tomato feed on spent bulbs in containers and applied lawn weed and feed.
