  • Perki, a lot have been grown to order so we negotiated the price, but still not cheap image but its been two years in the planning we do have pictures and I will get around to posting a few soon.

The big stuff we have a clever bit of kit coming to plant them it measures the root ball digs the hole positions and plants then refills.

Gosh, Gardener's Boy, will you be opening your garden to the public when it's done?

Planted out potted salvias and heuchrea cuttings and rescued two shrubs, onewill no doubt curl up its toes image

it's crazy warm and sunny, put trailing rosemary in urn, need to get back out there and finish...sedum to get in the ground, penstemons to move to more sun and a whole bed to arrange and plant up, I really am packed to the gills this year

  • No, not really, too soggyimage I don't mind gardening in the rain but the garden has to have been dry when I started image

Unpacked two boxes of plants delivered yesterday. Plants are spot on, service a bit shabby when compared to other nurseries I've used recently...stood most of them where they are to go as all big enough to go straight out, just got two left over as I have a slight space issue tooimage

Sowed some seeds and trimmed a few things. Almost everything awakened nowimage

Still raining here in Renfrewshire but I managed to repot a large Newzealand Flax out of its pot into a big wooden tub..quite a job getting it to move. But where theres a will theres a way  image Planted some potted delphs out and some beautiful Fire Dragon Polyanthus that I got at BnQ for £1 each for 3litre pots....that was a great bargain.

Pruning roses in the church garden this morning (better late than never?), and eating cake.

Planted onion sets & sowed carrots this afternoon, all in the rain.  Now I've come in, it's stopped, of course image
