I think that was the music to "The Flight of the Condor". . . a superb TV series some years ago.

    SW Scotland
  • Ha, ha - yes - that Condor ship sails between France, Jersey & Guernsey. We used to have a conventional large ferry which took a lot longer to reach France but could sail in almost all weathers. No Condor birds around here but plenty of dolphins at the moment.

  • We went dolphin spotting this evening, but no sightings. However we took a few pictures to share with you.imageimageimageimageOyster catchers, the last of the gorse flowers, the end of the rainbow after a thunder storm and the last of the sea holly.

Those are lovely GD. I like an oyster catcher...couldn't eat a whole one...image

Your seascapes are gorgeous. A real contrast to my mountains image

Love Lesley's 'owls' too. I'm going to see my foxgloves in a different light next year image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

  • Those lovely pictures remind me of happy summer holidays spent camping in France Busy, we used to take the kayak so we could enjoy the rivers.  Happy memories. Thanks Fairy. I am envious of your mountains and Busy's rivers but the sea is where it is at here in Guernsey so I thought I would share a sea side walk with you this evening.

  • I would like to share these pictures with you, nothing to do with gardening, but I hope you will find them of interestimageimageimage

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
